What this market asks for

  • Every vendor: business license and certificate of insurance (COI).
  • Meat, dairy & eggs: Georgia Department of Agriculture mobile vehicle license, for meat and poultry.
  • Prepared food and beverages: county food service permit, issued by the county board of health.
  • Bakery and packaged goods: Georgia Department of Agriculture Food Sales Establishment License, unless you are a Georgia cottage food operator — Georgia has issued no cottage food license since July 1, 2025, so you send no state license and may send a food-safety training certificate instead.
  • Plants & flowers: Georgia live plant license.

You can book and pay for a date only when every required document is verified and still valid on that date. Until then checkout is refused for that date and names the document.

This list is this sample market's own policy. Each market sets its own.

About government ID

We do not store a copy of your ID. A staff member looks at it once, records that they checked it and that the name matched, and the image is destroyed the same day. Accepted: driver's license, state ID, passport, or matrícula consular.

Rather do this in person?

Come to the info tent any Saturday and a market liaison will fill this out with you, in English or Spanish, on their tablet or on paper. You do not need an email address — a phone number is enough.

How should we contact you?

What you sell

Are you a Georgia cottage food operator?

Georgia has issued no cottage food license since July 1, 2025. If you answer yes, this market asks you for no state food license; you may attach a food-safety training certificate.

Do you grow, raise, bake or make everything you sell?

A phone photo is fine. This is not a portfolio.

Only if you have sold at markets before. First-timers skip this.
